New Canteen cum Study Centre Inaugurated at Khalsa College

Khalsa College Governing Council honorary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina today inaugurated the new Canteen cum Study Centre at Khalsa College campus here today. He said the facility was for the boy hostellers and day scholars and it will be the first Canteen that will remain open round the clock and students who study during nights will get 24 hours tea, coffee and snacks.

“The day scholars as well as hostellers will no longer have to visit roadside stalls as they will get nutritious food at subsidized rates on their campus itself,” said Chhina who was accompanied by KCGC vice President Swinder Singh Kathunangal. Principal Dr. Mehal Singh said that it was the demand of the students for long to get this facility. He said that the canteen is a state of art facility which will serve snacks, tea, coffee and meals at subsidized rates.
